Taxis really do whatever they want...
I don't like editing photos because anyone can edit a bad photo and make it look better. So my photos, while not excellent, are at least what came unedited from the camera. But once in a while a little color editing is okay to make some drama. Adjusted the levels of everything but the cyan in this one. No cropping or anything else though. My first edited photo on here.
Desserts in Japan tend to be really pretty. They taste alright, but I find myself gravitating towards them when there's a camera in my hands. Never seen these cone things before but they look tasty. If they have them next time I'm in Ogikubo I might get them.
Because I haven't figured it out yet my camera isn't quite able to take good photos if there isn't great outdoor lighting. It can, but it's hit or miss and that's something I need to work out. Got some new art supplies last night from Sekaido in Shinjuku. Something to keep myself entertained.
Most people focus on people when taking photos. In my opinion people are always moving and changing; I'd rather focus on the food sometimes. This was the work party I went to last night, although only one of the three tables.
Mode Gakuin Coccoon Tower in Shinjuku is an interesting building to say the least. The fact that it's just outside the busiest train station in the world is a testament to Tokyo's progressive nature. Unfortunately it hasn't caught on...most buildings are quite normal.
Raining again in Tokyo today. These are near my train station instead. There were some lovely yellow roses I shot in front of the streetcar tracks again but decided a different venue would be better. There's something about raindrops on flowers. Raindrops on roses, as the song goes.
The irises near the streetcar tracks almost rival the beauty of the roses. While I've given a lot of attention to the roses in my other media this is the first time I've mentioned the irises.
